Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (G.E.D.) preferred.
• 2 years of experience in a call center, or 1 year in a physician's office; with experience using multi-line phone systems and EMR software.
• Experience with several software programs simultaneously; excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations; ability to document and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and perform pre-registration tasks.
• Verify insurance and provide patient estimates; collect payments over the phone.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls for clinic programs and referrals.
• Use Epic/MyChart for scheduling and patient communications.
