Job summary

BayCare Health System is recruiting a Patient Financial Representative II for a fully remote role available to Florida residents. The position focuses on collections, accounts receivable follow-up, and claim resolution to ensure timely reimbursement.

You will handle billing, customer service, and cash posting while communicating with insurance providers and patients about balances and claim status. Prior healthcare billing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years in Patient Accounts or a related field.
• Accounts Receivable and Collections experience in Patient Accounts or Revenue Cycle preferred.
• Certifications not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient accounting functions with emphasis on collections and AR follow-up.
• Review outstanding balances, resolve billing issues, and follow up with payers and patients.
• Post payments, respond to billing inquiries, and apply billing guideline changes.
• Interpret and follow up on Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and claims through payer portals.
