Precision Imaging Centers is seeking a dedicated Patient Financial Services Representative for a fully remote role. You will help patients prepare for diagnostic imaging appointments by ensuring financial, insurance, authorization, order, and registration requirements are completed before visits.

The ideal candidate communicates effectively, stays organized in a fast-paced setting, and can handle multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with insurance verification and patient financial responsibilities.
• Familiarity with medical scheduling and pre-registration processes.
• Ability to communicate clearly about deductibles, copays, and coinsurance.
• Proficiency with EMR, scheduling, payer, and authorization systems.
• Strong organization and attention to detail; HIPAA compliant.

Aufgaben

• Make inbound and outbound calls regarding upcoming appointments and services.
• Review insurance and account information to determine estimated patient out-of-pocket responsibility.
• Explain deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, and other financial obligations.
• Collect patient payments by telephone in accordance with privacy and payment-processing requirements.
• Document patient conversations, payments, and financial information.
• Obtain and process authorizations; monitor pending authorizations.
• Pre-registration and appointment readiness checks.
• Contact physician offices regarding missing or incomplete orders.
• Follow up on outstanding clinical documentation and insurance information.
