Job summary

Elevate Patient Financial Solutions is seeking a Scheduling and Authorization Coordinator for a remote position. You will handle patient calls, verify insurance, obtain approvals, and schedule imaging with a focus on accuracy and patient service.

Responsibilities include coordinating with hospitals, physicians, and internal teams while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate records in ElevatePFS systems. Strong communication and multitasking are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Associate degree or 2+ years in patient scheduling, registration, or healthcare billing is preferred.
• Over one year in a customer service or client relations role is preferred.
• Office or hospital environment experience is preferred.
• High volume call center experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance information through verification processes.
• Obtain authorizations, referrals, and treatment consults as needed.
• Enter benefit and diagnosis information into systems accurately.
• Coordinate scheduling of imaging and related procedures.
• Schedule complex exams with attention to detail and patient education.
• Maintain HIPAA information accuracy during scheduling and communications.
• Document notes in hospital ElevatePFS systems and monitor work lists.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and internal/external customers.
