Elevate Patient Financial Solutions® is seeking a Scheduling and Authorization Coordinator for a remote, full-time position. You will handle patient calls, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, schedule imaging, and document activities in hospital systems.

The role emphasizes excellent communication, HIPAA compliance, multitasking in fast-paced environments, and collaboration with physicians, hospital staff, and internal teams. Requires high school diploma and scheduling experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or 2+ years in patient scheduling/healthcare billing preferred.
• Experience in a customer service or call center role.
• Office or hospital environment experience preferred.
• Strong literacy and Microsoft products proficiency.
• Familiarity with hospital IT systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Complete insurance verification and obtain authorizations as needed.
• Schedule complex imaging exams and educate patients on prep.
• Screen HIPAA information for scheduling accuracy.
• Document notes in hospital and ElevatePFS systems.
• Maintain logs of scheduled patients and monitor work lists.
