Penn Medicine is seeking a Patient Engagement Associate within CPUP - Access Center to deliver patient-centric service across phone, chat and omni-channel channels. You will support registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and referrals while maintaining HIPAA compliance and a compassionate approach.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; 1+ years customer service, clerical, or healthcare experience preferred.
• 3 years of experience preferred.
• Experience using EMR/CRM systems.
• Must complete EPIC scheduling training/tests.

Responsabilités

• Answer phones, chats, and digital inquiries while meeting service level goals.
• Schedule patient appointments, provide instructions, directions, parking info, and required documents.
• Register patients and verify demographics/insurance; manage authorizations for claims.
• Document patient needs and encounter details in EMR/CRM; route to appropriate team.
• Assist with provider navigation and outreach; support Penn Medicine initiatives.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and adapt to evolving workflows.
