Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; 1+ year of customer service or healthcare experience preferred.
• Up to 3 years of experience may be preferred for advanced responsibilities.
• Experience with EMR/CRM systems and EPIC scheduling training/tests desired.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, chats, and digital inquiries to meet service levels.
• Schedule patient appointments and prepare visit instructions.
• Complete patient registration and verify demographics/insurance.
• Document encounters in EMR/CRM and route to the appropriate team.
• Support outreach campaigns and provide patient resources.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and secure workstation practices.
• Deliver patient-centric service and uphold Penn Medicine values.
• Perform additional duties to support the unit and health system.
