Abstra is seeking an Engagement Coordinator to support patient communications and appointment scheduling in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will serve as the primary contact for patients, coordinating appointments and ensuring a positive experience through excellent customer service.

The role requires strong English communication, organization, and experience with scheduling tools. Remote work from Latam with US Central/ET hours is available; HIPAA compliance is essential.

Qualificações

• 1+ year of customer service, scheduling, or coordination experience.
• Proficient in English with clear communication.
• Experience handling phone interactions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with scheduling, CRM or similar tools.
• Healthcare or patient services experience is preferred.
• High school diploma required; degree is a plus.
• Clinical/medical experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary patient contact via phone, email, and messaging.
• Schedule, reschedule, cancel, and confirm appointments.
• Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls professionally.
• Provide appointment and service information to patients.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant communications.
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling systems.
• Follow workflows to support a smooth patient experience.
• Coordinate with providers and internal teams on scheduling.
• Resolve scheduling issues and patient inquiries promptly.
• Document patient interactions in company systems.
• Support patient engagement and satisfaction initiatives.
