Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a remote role. Ideal candidates must reside and be licensed in AZ, FL, IN, or OH.

During an 8-week training period, hours are Mon–Fri 8:30 am–5:00 pm EST; after training, schedule shifts to M-F 8:30 am–5:00 pm EST with one evening shift 12:30 pm–9 pm EST. Responsibilities

• Consult with patients regarding medications and potential drug interactions.
• Contact physicians for new and transfer authorizations.
• Collaborate with physicians to convert prescriptions to generics or preferred drugs.
• Interpret prescriptions and verify information to expedite processing.
• Back up other pharmacists and train less experienced staff.
