Job summary

The Cigna Group's Evernorth Health Services seeks a remote Patient Consult Staff Pharmacist licensed in AZ, IN, FL or OH to verify prescriptions, consult with patients, and support prescribers. Training lasts 8–10 weeks starting 11/2/2026, with hours 9am–5:30pm ET during training and flexible scheduling afterward.

The role requires a Pharmacy degree, active license, and strong communication, accuracy, and customer service. Bonus eligibility and day-one benefits are included.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
Active pharmacist license in good standing.
Strong problem-solving and cross-department collaboration.
Excellent oral and written communication and prescription interpretation.
Ability to manage timelines and meet deadlines; flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

Consult with patients on medication use and interactions.
Contact physicians to verify information and obtain transfers.
Collaborate to convert prescriptions to generics or preferred drugs.
Provide oversight to pharmacy technicians and verify controls.
Back up other pharmacists and train less experienced staff.
