Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a part-time telepharmacy pharmacist to provide remote services across multiple hospital clients. Responsibilities include remote order entry, verification, counseling, and clinical decision support. This role emphasizes compliance with policies and quality patient care while offering evenings, overnight, and on-call shifts.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred) with an active PA or OH license and may hold additional state licenses.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in good standing is required (PA and/or OH).
• Active licensure and ability to obtain multiple state licenses.
• Experience with hospital pharmacy workflows and telepharmacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote order entry, order verification, drug verification, and counseling.
• Support multiple clients and operate within various PIS systems.
• Provide proactive clinical services and dosing recommendations.
• Maintain knowledge of IV fluids, TPN, narcotics, antibiotics, and chemotherapy.
• Counsel patients, nurses, and staff on safe medication use.
• Investigate and resolve medication variances within 48 hours.
