Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a remote role. Candidates must reside and be licensed in Arizona, Indiana, Florida, Ohio or Tennessee.

The position carries a Band 3 Senior Contributor Career Track and offers an eight-week training period starting 11/2/26, with initial hours 8:30am–5pm ET, Monday to Friday. During training, after which schedules rotate per placement, followed by assigned shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is required, PharmD preferred.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing in a resident state.
• Ability to interpret prescriptions and communicate with prescribers.
• Strong customer service and accuracy focus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret prescriptions and verify information with prescribers or patients.
• Contact physicians to obtain transfer authorizations or updates.
• Collaborate with physicians to switch to generic or preferred drugs.
• Provide oversight to pharmacy technicians and ensure quality.
• Handle calls regarding orders, delays, or dispensing issues.
