Job summary

Vital Care Infusion Services is seeking a detail-oriented financial specialist to pursue patient account collections across franchise locations. You will verify benefits, determine patient responsibilities, and coordinate with sites to resolve balances with care and sensitivity.

The role emphasizes clear patient communication, adherence to HIPAA, and handling payment plans, disclosures, and assistance programs. Remote work is available in the U.S. and compensation includes hourly pay.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in self-pay collections, preferably in an infusion or medical setting.
• Ability to resolve financial issues with attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Research accounts to determine correct self-pay balances.
• Review benefits verification forms and admission agreements to determine patient responsibilities.
• Work with locations to obtain additional information, such as phone numbers and patient identifiers.
• Review monthly patient statement reports to identify follow-up priorities.
• Process patient payments and set up payment arrangements within established parameters.
• Identify accounts for write-offs and/or further collection options.
• Educate patients about out-of-pocket expenses and enrollment in assistance programs.
• Maintain clear financial communication with patients, caregivers, franchisees, and team members.
