You will verify patient responsibilities, process payments, set up payment plans, and communicate clearly with patients, caregivers, and franchise partners.

Ideal candidates have prior self-pay collections experience in healthcare and are proficient with MS Office. Strong attention to detail and HIPAA compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Excellent communication in English, both written and verbal.
• Proven experience with patient accounts receivable and self-pay collections.

Responsibilities

• Research accounts to determine accurate self-pay balances.
• Review benefits verification forms to determine patient responsibilities.
• Process patient payments and arrange payment plans within policy.
• Identify accounts for write-offs or further collection actions.
• Educate patients about costs and enrollment in assistance programs.
• Escalate problematic accounts to leadership for resolution.
