Job summary

Lumicera Health Services in Illinois is seeking a Supervisor, Patient Care (SPC) to lead and support the Patient Care Assistant team, ensuring workflow standards and timely communication. The SPC will monitor performance, apply process improvements, and ensure staff understand changes and client requirements.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, coaching, and collaboration with scheduling, QA, and pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in a managed care, specialty pharmacy, customer service, or PBM environment required.
• Experience in a call center environment preferred.
• Direct leadership or coaching / mentoring experience preferred.
• Pharmacy Claim / benefit experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily workload standards and staffing plans support goals.
• Identify and remove barriers to meet targets.
• Review client transitions and changes in volume with clear scripting.
• Share information impacting staff timely and clearly.
• Coach, motivate and develop staff to produce outstanding results.
• Assist with training and development for individuals and department.
• Maintain resources and knowledge of Lumicera systems and tools.
