Job summary

FountainRx Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a remote Patient Care Coordinator to support patients with retail, compounded, and specialty medications. You will manage inquiries, coordinate with providers and payors, and ensure accurate documentation across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience in a health-care setting or customer-service preferred.
• Computer skills include word processing, and efficient use of internet and e‑mail.
• Excellent communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and concerns with clinicians and payors.
• Document all patient, provider, and payor communications accurately.
• Coordinate payor benefit investigations and referrals as part of the care process.
• Foster communication between patients, pharmacists, and other health care professionals with a positive, professional demeanor.
• Report to Patient Care Manager and participate in departmental meetings and ongoing training.
• Assist with other projects or duties as assigned by partners or designee.
