Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support Canada-wide patient services from a home-based office. You will respond to inquiries, triage calls, and manage patient documentation while ensuring data integrity and timely therapy access.

The role requires English proficiency, 2+ years in a call center or healthcare setting, and the ability to coordinate with various teams to improve patient outcomes. Flexible to work rotating shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• English proficiency in writing and speaking is required.
• 2+ years Call Center experience is preferred.
• Healthcare or insurance experience is an asset.
• Experience with drug reimbursement processes is advantageous.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts (Mon–Fri 8am–8pm EST) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound calls from patients, pharmacies, and clinics within SLA.
• Triages calls to appropriate team members.
• Index and file patient documents; ensure data integrity.
• Monitor files and collaborate with the Patient Support Program teams.
• Coordinate services to ensure timely access to therapy.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and clinics.
• Understand the medications and coverage details for reimbursement.
• Meet or exceed performance and quality metrics.
• Notify about Adverse Events and Product Technical Complaints promptly.
• Perform other duties as required.
