Job summary

Cardinal Health Sonexus Access and Patient Support is seeking a remote, full-time Call Center Specialist to handle inbound calls, document interactions in proprietary software, and coordinate patient follow-ups with physicians and pharmacies.

The role requires a high school diploma (PH) and preferred Certified Pharmacy Technician, with 1+ year in a fast-paced call center. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, HSA, 401k and FSAs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technician certs preferred
• Experience in fast-paced call center environment is preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills essential
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft systems and telephony

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and determine customer needs for one-call resolution
• Manage inbound faxes and data entry into proprietary software
• Resolve patient/physician inquiries promptly and accurately
• Place outbound calls for follow-ups and information collection
• Interact with referral sources to process new applicants
• Identify and report adverse events during interactions with customers
