Job summary

Cardinal Health Sonexus Health is hiring a Remote Patient Support Specialist to assist patients with enrollment, benefit verification, and payer communications.

You will handle inbound/outbound calls, review documentation, and guide patients through enrollment while coordinating with providers and payers. Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid policies and prior authorization processes is preferred. This full-time role offers remote work during CST business hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient support services and familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid guidelines.
• 1–2 years of pharmacy or medical claims billing experience.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first contact for inbound calls and assess needs.
• Process enrollment applications accurately and timely.
• Review forms and documentation for completeness.
• Assist patients with benefit investigations and authorizations.
• Maintain accurate notes in client database.
