Job summary

Gillette Children's seeks a full-time Patient Financial Representative to join our revenue cycle team in Saint Paul, MN, with remote work option after onsite training. The role requires residence in Minnesota or Wisconsin and occasional on-site presence in St.

Paul. You will communicate with patients and families about statements, negotiate payment plans, and guide them through GAP and cost-of-care resources.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years experience in customer service, administrative or healthcare setting.
• Healthcare billing/revenue cycle experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Answers inbound calls for Gillette's main billing number.
• Greets patients/families and directs them to the appropriate team.
• Negotiates prompt payment and explains financial assistance options.
• Sets up recurring monthly payment plans with families.
• Ensures statements are released monthly and follows up on balances.
• Supports monthly reconciliation with collection agency reports.
