Job summary

Gillette Children’s Hospital is seeking a Patient Access Specialist for the Maple Grove Clinic. The role involves front-desk check-in, accurate patient registration, insurance verification, and scheduling across specialties. You will support families, promote MyGillette portal, and coordinate with clinical teams to resolve patient needs while providing a welcoming, efficient first impression of our care team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience with customer service, administrative, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Advanced education (Associate or Bachelor’s) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and families at check-in and verifies demographics and insurance information.
• Schedules appointments across medical specialties efficiently and in line with care plans.
• Connects patients with on-site amenities and assists with clinic navigation.
• Promotes MyGillette patient portal and appointment reminders to engage families.
