Elevate Patient Financial Solutions is hiring a Remote Based Patient Advocate to guide uninsured hospital patients through Medicaid and financial assistance programs. This full-time, 100% remote role follows a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time.

The Advocate will document case details, collaborate with hospital staff, and provide compassionate support while helping patients navigate governmental programs and enrollment processes.

Qualifications

• Some college coursework preferred.
• Prior hospital experience preferred.
• Adaptability with changing processes and government programs.
• Experience with state and federal programs is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Outlook).
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Must meet remote-work HIPAA/PHI requirements.

Responsibilities

• Screen uninsured hospital patients to determine eligibility for federal, state, and/or county medical or disability assistance.
• Complete and follow through on appropriate applications until approved.
• Document thoroughly in Elevate PFS and hospital systems on all cases.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Maintain a structured work queue of patient accounts and coordinate with hospital staff.
