Elevate Patient Financial Solutions is seeking a Hospital Based Patient Advocate to guide uninsured hospital patients through medical and disability program options at bedside, in-hospital rooms. You will identify eligibility, assist with applications, and ensure timely follow-up to help patients secure financial support.

This full-time, on-site role emphasizes empathy, accuracy in documentation, and collaboration with hospital staff to achieve high bedside screening and enrollment metrics.

Qualifications

• Some college coursework preferred.
• Prior hospital experience preferred.
• Adaptability with changing processes and government programs.
• Proficient experience with state/federal programs.

Responsibilities

• Screen uninsured hospital patients at bedside to determine eligibility for federal, state, and county programs.
• Complete applications and follow through until approved.
• Document cases accurately in Elevate PFS and hospital systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Maintain and manage the assigned work queue of patient accounts.
• Collaborate with hospital staff, case managers, social workers, and financial counselors.
