Ez Health is hiring a Patient Advocate to support older adults remotely. You will be the trusted voice, determine next steps, and persistently resolve issues. Most advocates manage around 20 clients, enabling personalized care.

The role emphasizes clear communication, empathy, and strong organizational skills, with the freedom to work from home and handle outbound calls during daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Clear communication, empathy, good judgment, and follow-through are valued.
• No prior healthcare experience required, but strong people skills are essential.
• Ability to organize multiple cases and use online tools effectively.

Responsibilities

• Call clients on a regular schedule to check in and assess needs.
• Ask questions and listen to understand each client's needs.
• Prepare clients for appointments and explain follow-up steps.
• Translate medical terms into everyday language.
• Coordinate with doctors, pharmacies, insurers, and community programs.
• Set up transportation, medication refills, and meal assistance.
• Document calls and agreed next steps.
• Maintain a running list of open tasks and follow through.
