Job summary

Cadence is a clinical AI company focused on remote monitoring and chronic care. Cadence Health is hiring a Patient Activation Specialist to guide patients through device activation and begin engagement with our care model.

You will connect with patients by phone and coordinate with clinical and technical teams to resolve activation issues, foundational to long-term program participation. Hours are Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM ET, and the role is fully remote within the United States.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer service, tech support, or patient-facing coordination.
• Ability to explain technical steps clearly to non-technical audiences, by phone and in writing.
• Proficiency with Mac products and standard software tools used for call handling, documentation, and device troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage a structured, high-volume caseload of patient interactions daily.
• Fluency with AI productivity tools (e.g., Gemini, Notion AI) and applying them to workflows and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end device activation for new patients by phone.
• Troubleshoot activation issues and escalate when needed.
• Explain monitoring program steps in clear, patient-friendly language.
• Coordinate with care teams and tech support to resolve activations.
• Document interactions and activation status accurately.
• Drive patient engagement with Cadence's care model at activation touchpoints.
• Manage a high volume of patient calls with consistent quality.
