You will train new associates, interpret payer contracts, and use payer portals while maintaining clear written and verbal communication. Remote options apply per policy; video interviews via Teams are required.

Qualifications

• One year of full cycle medical billing experience.
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 and modifiers.
• Ability to read EOBs or interpret denials.
• Experience with insurance claim appeals.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic remittances.

Responsibilities

• Identify payment details and save backups.
• Validate and adjust payment postings for resolution.
• Interpret payer contracts to ensure codes match contracts.
• Initiate payer recoupments and refunds where applicable.
• Navigate payer claim portals and understand payer functionality.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
