Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Access & Patient Support Supervisor to oversee a 70+ remote patient access team handling customer service, enrollment and reimbursement tasks for specialty pharmaceutical manufacturers.

The role requires strong leadership, SOP development, performance metric reporting to senior leadership and cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex program issues while maintaining high-quality patient service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of related field experience.
• Previous management experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead remote employees.
• Commitment to the continued development of oneself and team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program staff performing customer service, enrollment and reimbursement activities.
• Manage benefit investigations for pharmacy benefit coverage and prior authorization support.
• Ensure SOPs and work instructions are maintained for the program.
• Review program metrics and report results to senior leadership.
• Coordinate testing/solutioning for changes including IT and platform upgrades.
• Manage timecards and HR responsibilities as a people leader.
• Conduct regular coaching and performance/goal setting reviews with team members.
• Collaborate with internal partners to resolve complex program issues.
• Prioritize work to meet key deadlines and maintain client contact.
