Formación

• High School Diploma or the equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with medical terminology.
• Excellent customer service, problem assessment, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) or similar software.
• Associate's Degree or higher preferred.
• Prior high-volume call center experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule appointment requests and outbound calls to schedule referrals.
• Explain insurance participation, financial responsibility, and time-of-service policies.
• Collect insurance and demographic information registered in EPIC.
• Perform real-time insurance verification.
• Collect pre-registration information for Epic work queues.
• Provide back-up coverage as needed.
• Handle general faxing, filing, and mail sorting.
• Participate in team discussions for complex scheduling needs.
• Escalate issues to lead/supervisor/manager as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
