Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with medical terminology.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointment requests and outbound calls for Epic referrals.
• Explain insurance participation and policies to patients.
• Collect insurance and demographic information in EPIC.
• Perform real-time insurance verification.
• Collect pre-registration information for Epic queues.
• Provide coverage support as needed.
• Handle general faxing, filing, and mail sorting.
• Discuss complex scheduling needs with the team.
• Escalate issues to supervisors for resolution.
