CND Life Sciences, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to manage intake, data entry, eligibility, and prior authorizations. You will coordinate with patients, offices, and health plans to ensure accurate, timely processing in a remote environment.

The role requires attention to detail, healthcare access experience, and strong communication skills to support RCM and clinical services teams.

Qualifications

• Healthcare patient access, benefit verification, or revenue cycle management experience.
• Proficiency with Salesforce, Waystar, payer portals, and lab billing platforms.
• Knowledge of commercial and government insurance coverage.
• Familiarity with eligibility, benefits, prior authorization, and medical terminology.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, time-management, and customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma required; billing coursework or related degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Retrieve, review, and triage faxes and correspondence during intake.
• Enter and maintain patient demographics and insurance data in Salesforce.
• Prioritize urgent requests and own accounts through completion.
• Verify eligibility and insurance coverage using Waystar and payer portals.
• Complete benefit verifications within turnaround times for various plans.
• Determine need for prior authorization or referrals and initiate requests.
• Follow up on authorizations and document status and details.
• Escalate complex or delayed authorization matters per procedures.
• Review accounts for missing information and drive timely resolution.
• Ensure accounts support downstream Revenue Cycle processes.
• Communicate status to patients, offices, and internal teams professionally.
