Job summary

Grifols, a global healthcare company, is hiring a Patient Access Liaison to minimize access and reimbursement barriers for patients and providers in the North Central and South Central regions of the United States. The role requires deep knowledge of payer policies, patient services, and specialty pharmacy processes.

The PAL will work with HCPs, Market Access, and SP/Hub teams to resolve reimbursement issues, educate providers about the Prolastin Direct program, and support compliant access

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree, advanced degree or PharmD preferred.
• 2 years of rare disease, specialty pharmacy, pharma and/or biopharmaceutical experience.
• Ability to travel and cover large multistate geography; > 50% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Educate prescriber office personnel on the Prolastin Direct program to facilitate patient access.
• Champion and manage patient support and reimbursement programs for compliance.
• Be the subject matter expert on payer policies and patient access in the geography.
• Collaborate with payor team to understand payer policies and facilitate patient access.
• Explain prior authorization requirements, appeals, and clinical criteria; support electronic PA submissions.
