Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–6 years in related field preferred.
• Experience with Fertility and Travel & Lodging BI preferred.
• 1–2 years experience conducting and documenting patient health insurance benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and appeals preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payer practices preferred.
• Attention to detail is important.

Responsibilities

• Guide healthcare providers through the patient journey to therapy.
• Investigate patient health insurance benefits and initiate prior authorizations and step therapy reviews.
• Proactively follow up with payers, specialty pharmacies, and support organizations to facilitate coverage and delivery.
• Maintain compliant high-quality patient support and communication.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls with strong customer service.
