Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking an entry-level Revenue Cycle/Patient Access associate to support front-end workflows remotely. You will collect demographic and financial information, schedule services, and assist with referrals and authorizations.

The role emphasizes high-quality customer service, accuracy, and teamwork within a high-volume environment. Training is provided, and the position includes full-time hours with a rotating Saturday shift on occasion.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in insurance, managed care, private physician’s office practice or hospital registration setting preferred.
• Revenue Cycle, Patient Access or Pre-Services experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provides front-end patient support and scheduling assistance.
• Obtains demographic, financial and clinical information from patients/guarantors.
• Generates patient estimates and communicates payment expectations.
• Schedules, reschedules and cancels appointments to optimize resource use.
• Handles referrals, authorizations and insurance eligibility inquiries.
• Utilizes Epic Cadence, Vyne/Trace, Teams and AWS tools to support workflows.
