Job summary

Natera is seeking a Pathology Support Coordinator for sample review, data entry and case QC on a 2nd shift rotation. You will leverage LIMS and pathology data to ensure accurate tissue sample review for cfDNA testing programs.

The role requires ASCP certification or equivalent preference, HIPAA training, and the ability to meet daily metrics while collaborating across the team. Remote US access is supported for this temporary position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years of medical industry related experience - pathology preferred.
• Previous data entry experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Review cases for accuracy and completeness of pathology tissue samples.
• Interpret pathology reports, clinical notes and testing reports for data entry.
• Collaborate with team to resolve discrepancies.
• Place notes and holds on non-conforming samples and escalate for timely resolution.
• Confirm cancer types for the reporting team before the report is issued.
• Meet daily case metrics.
• Provide feedback on current processes or workflows.
• Review and understand all SOPs.
• Handle PHI with trained HIPAA/PHI privacy compliance.
