Job summary

Natera, Inc. is seeking candidates for a role handling accessioning and case management in a healthcare-focused environment. You will review tissue requests, expedite cases, and ensure accurate data entry while maintaining PHI privacy standards.

You will support other PSCs, communicate with pathology labs, and help monitor workflow metrics to improve overall case handling. Training in HIPAA/PHI and related policies is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of medical industry related experience.
• Previous computer experience required.
• Previous data entry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Review select cases for accuracy of tissue request and expedite to PAs when needed.
• Assist other PSCs in resolving issues with their cases and provide feedback on quality.
• Ensure notes and holds are placed on non-conforming or missing information for timely follow-up.
• Compose professional emails/faxes for case escalation and status updates.
• Perform outbound calls to pathology labs for specimen information.
• Attend interdepartmental meetings and monitor errors and metrics for tissue cases.
• Work with PHI regularly and complete required privacy/security training.
• Maintain current status on Natera training requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
