Christianson, PLLP seeks a detail-oriented Tax & Research Specialist to join our firm. In this role, you'll support tax compliance, conduct in-depth research on tax laws, and provide actionable insights while overseeing the preparation and review of complex returns.

You will mentor staff, develop quality control procedures, guide client engagements with a focus on partnerships, and keep the team updated on changes in tax regulations. The position offers remote work across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA or EA certification preferred or currently pursuing.
• 4+ years of public accounting experience.
• Experience with Renewable Fuels is a plus.
• Expertise in technical research and writing.

Responsabilités

• Review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns prepared by staff.
• Lead client engagements across the firm with a focus on Partnership tax.
• Research tax issues and prepare position memos for partner/client/IRS review.
• Optimize clients’ tax liability and credit reporting.
• Mentor staff and provide resources for technical, procedural, and professional issues.
