Christianson PLLP is seeking a Tax Accountant to prepare individual and business tax returns, review financial statements, and research tax regulations. The role emphasizes client service, mentoring teammates, and contributing to business development. Relocation support is provided for qualified candidates.

Open to remote candidates nationwide with a preference for Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin due to occasional in-person meetings. Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00 am–5:00 pm CST.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA or EA preferred, or actively seeking either credential
• 1+ years of relevant experience in public accounting
• Strong written and verbal communication, client service, and research skills
• Leadership skills and ability to mentor team members

Responsabilidades

• Prepare individual and business tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws
• Assist in compiling and reviewing financial statements and reports
• Research and interpret tax regulations to support compliance and planning efforts
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Support year-end closing processes, including preparing work papers and assisting with audits
• Maintain accurate records of transactions in accounting software
• Stay current on tax industry updates and regulatory changes
• Collaborate with senior accountants and managers to improve processes and efficiencies
• Be an active participant in business development and cultivate client relationships
• Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Accountants, Supervisors, Managers, or Partners
