Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Partnership Management to coordinate diverse projects within School Assessment. You will manage customer relationships, plan and execute projects, and support business development and financial controls.

The role requires 2–3 years in project management, strong communication, and a PMP-friendly mindset. This remote-friendly position emphasizes collaboration across teams and vendors to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree desired or commensurate experience.
2-3 years of experience in a project management role.
PMP certification or demonstrate an understanding and application of PMI principles (Preferred).
Flexibility in the workplace.
Ability to make decisions based upon limited information.
Demonstrate ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Significant experience with customer service and project management.
Understand team dynamics and foster a positive team environment.
High sense of urgency and attention to detail.
Effective verbal/written communication and presentations.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, MS Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Some travel required.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with internal resources and external customers.
Provide outstanding customer service and be responsive to questions and requests.
Serve as a point-of-contact to the customer and cross-functional teams for day-to-day execution.
Interpret and meet customer expectations to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.
Oversee project life cycle from initiation to close.
Maintain the project management plan, requirements, schedule, and documentation.
Coordinate with stakeholders to meet project goals.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and review deliverables.
Assist in change control processes and scope management.
Identify opportunities for process and quality improvements; monitor changes.
Measure project performance and communicate results to stakeholders.
Identify and track risks; implement mitigation actions.
Execute tasks to meet customer deliverables.
Prepare and present program status reports.
Support Manager, Partner Success with new business initiatives, SOWs, and change requests.
Support Manager, Partners Success with financial reviews to stay within budget and margins.
