Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Partnership Management for the School Assessment program. You will support delivery, manage customer relationships and coordinate across vendors, cross‑functional teams, and internal resources in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee project life cycles, maintain plans and schedules, and ensure quality and scope controls. Strong communication, negotiation, and MS Office skills are essential for success in this remote role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree desired or commensurate experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in a project management role.
• PMP certification or demonstrate PMI principles.
• Flexibility in the workplace.
• Ability to make decisions based upon limited information.
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities, and work in a fast‑paced, ever changing environment.
• Significant experience with customer service and project management.
• Understand team dynamics and foster a positive team environment.
• High sense of urgency and attention to detail required.
• Effective verbal/written communication skills, strong listening, negotiation and facilitation skills and the ability to develop and deliver presentations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, MS Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Some travel required.

Responsibilities

• Manage project life cycle through initiation to close.
• Maintain the project plan, customer requirements, schedule, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, vendors and internal teams to meet goals.
• Monitor quality and manage changes to scope, schedule and costs.
• Prepare and present internal and external program reports.
