Job summary

CRG is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist for a remote, part-time contract. The role supports payroll operations for a multi-state organization, processing roughly biweekly payroll for about 500 employees across 25–30 states and handling inquiries with accuracy.

You will work 25 hours per week within 8am-5pm, use Workday or similar systems, and collaborate with HR to ensure compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll processing required.
• Experience across multiple states preferred.
• Familiarity with Workday, ADP, or UKG desired; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll for approximately 500 employees.
• Handle payroll taxes, garnishments, and notices.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with accuracy and timeliness.
• Generate payroll reports using Workday or similar systems.
• Assist with quarterly stock-related transactions and annual bonus processing.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance.
