DriveTime Family of Brands is seeking a Payroll Specialist to prepare and process data for multiple companies in multiple states using the WORKDAY payroll system. The role requires 3+ years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of multi-state payroll laws.

You will run reports, audit data, resolve pay issues, and support colleagues in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with a hybrid work arrangement and on-site expectations three days a week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience required.
• Payroll tax knowledge desired.
• Moderate to advanced Microsoft Excel experience.
• Basic knowledge of multi-state payroll laws.
• Experience working in multiple systems in a high-volume environment.
• Must have experience with and demonstrate superb customer service with an emphasis on phone skills.

Responsibilities

• Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Review and audit incoming employee data from Self Service and Onboarding systems.
• Respond to questions, research discrepancies, and resolve pay issues.
• Calculate retroactive pay adjustments.
• Verify and audit information prior to payroll transmission.
• Process manual checks when necessary.
• Advise and mentor team members regarding complex payroll issues.
• Resolve payroll, timekeeping and tax-related issues.
• Answer help-desk tickets.
