Protection Strategies Inc. is seeking a Part-time Payroll Accounting Specialist to support corporate payroll remotely. The role focuses on Deltek Costpoint labor, timesheets, H&W, and SCA requirements, with data transfers to ADP and GL posting. The position aligns with a flexible schedule around payroll cycles.

The ideal candidate will have Costpoint proficiency, multi-state payroll knowledge, and strong Excel/MS 365 skills, enabling independent work in a remote, part-time setup.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Deltek Costpoint experience for labor, timesheets, and payroll reporting.
• Direct experience supporting SCA employees (H&W, WD concepts, SCA leave).
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll.
• Understanding of full-cycle accounting, payroll flow to GL.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills; document processes.
• Associate degree or higher, or equivalent payroll/accounting experience.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time schedule and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily timesheets in Costpoint Time & Expense with audits.
• Collect, validate, and import timesheets into Costpoint.
• Calculate H&W and leave accruals; post to Costpoint GL.
• Process multi-state payroll for SCA and non-SCA employees under supervisor.
• Support ADP payroll (Workforce Now/Run) as needed; learn Costpoint export/import path.
• Set up new employees in Costpoint and ADP; manage time administration and logins.
• Track payroll changes affecting Costpoint and payroll status.
• Prepare payroll reports and GL import post-payroll.
• Monitor incentives/advances for terminated employees.
• Assist with A/P and expense processing as assigned.
• Document Costpoint and payroll procedures in SOPs.
