Job summary

PocketBook seeks a Part-Time Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to oversee financial reporting, tax preparation, compliance, and general accounting duties. The role supports strategic decisions with data-driven insights and requires a current CPA license and experience in e-commerce accounting.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license is required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting and tax experience.
• Experience in e-commerce accounting and multi-state tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and accurate tax filings.
• Coordinate federal and state tax filings as applicable.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support internal audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Suggest improvements to internal controls and procedures.
