Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Support internal audits and liaise with external auditors.

Position Summary:

The Part-Time CPA will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, tax preparation, compliance, and general accounting duties. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting strategic business decisions through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Handle federal and state tax filings (corporate, partnership, and/or individual as applicable).
• Conduct general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support internal audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Recommend improvements to internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial documentation.

Requirements:

• Active CPA license (required).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant accounting and tax experience.
• Experience in accounting of e-commerce sales
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
