Job summary

100x Recruiting is seeking experienced accounting and tax professionals to support during tax season for reputable U.S.-based CPA firms. This remote role offers flexibility to work with partners and senior CPAs on year-end bookkeeping, monthly closes, and individual and business tax return preparation.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in public accounting, are pursuing or have CPA designation, and are proficient with QuickBooks or Xero in a cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in public accounting or tax preparation.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and tax code.
• Ability to work independently and meet multiple deadlines.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in cloud-based accounting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S).
• Perform monthly reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely tax filings.
• Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
• Maintain high attention to detail under tight deadlines.
