Job summary

Lift Business Resources is seeking an experienced part-time Bookkeeper to support nonprofit and corporate clients remotely. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, ensure accurate ledgers, and produce timely reports using QuickBooks Online.

This role requires fund accounting knowledge, Excel skills, and the ability to work independently across multiple client accounts. Compensation ranges from $28 to $35 per hour based on experience, with paid time off and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit and corporate bookkeeping.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Knowledge of nonprofit accounting, including fund accounting and grant tracking.
• Excel proficiency and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for nonprofit and corporate clients.
• Maintain general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable; perform reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Support budgeting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Identify discrepancies and ensure accurate records; communicate with clients and accounting professionals.
