Job summary

Lift Business Resources is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented bookkeeper to join our remote team. This role supports nonprofit and corporate clients with accurate financial records and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has advanced QuickBooks Online skills, fund accounting experience, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts independently. This part-time position offers flexible hours and PTO.

Qualifications

• Professional bookkeeping experience in both nonprofit and corporate environments is required.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting, including fund accounting and grant tracking.
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple clients, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for nonprofit and corporate clients.
• Maintain accurate financial records, general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Support budgeting, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
• Communicate directly with clients and coordinate with accounting professionals as needed.
