Job summary

UPMC Community Care Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to support the CCBH Member Services Department in Pennsylvania. This remote role requires a quiet workspace and reliable internet.

Work hours are Mon–Fri 9 am–1 pm EST, with holidays as needed and occasional office visits. The position involves inbound calls from members and providers, crisis triage support, and escalation to licensed Care Managers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of customer service and/or call center experience.
• Preference for 1+ year experience.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains understanding of member benefits, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinates with members through the complaint process.
• Provides information and answers to member inquiries and explains rights and responsibilities.
• Documents inquiries according to guidelines and policies.
• Facilitates access to services by scheduling appointments or arranging transportation when needed.
• Handles member and provider inquiries with professionalism and care.
• Engages with care management staff for necessary materials and updates.
