Job summary

Home Care Nurses America is seeking a part-time accounting support professional to join our Arizona-based finance team on a remote, flexible schedule with approximately 25 hours per week. You will handle day-to-day transactional accounting, AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations and financial administration.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills and proficiency with Xero or MYOB. Sound problem solving and communication abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' practical accounting experience.
• Sound understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable and invoicing.
• Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare and process weekly invoicing.
• Allocate bank transactions and perform bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and assist with journal entries.
• Investigate discrepancies and follow up to resolution.
• Assist with payroll investigations and reporting as needed.
