Job summary

Highwoods Properties seeks a Parking Operations Specialist to act as the remote command center for driver support, garage access management, and centralized administration across the portfolio.

You will work with Property Management teams to maintain hardware, handle monthly billing, and deliver revenue reporting, with occasional Raleigh onsite support and travel to regional SmartPark locations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Associate degree; Bachelor's preferred.
• Experience: 2-4 years in commercial parking ops, customer service administration, call center, or property support.
• Live support: ability to handle high-volume queues and de-escalate issues in real time.
• Communication: excellent verbal skills for drivers and vendors.
• Technical: proficiency with Prism, parking platforms, and MS Office.
• Organizational: detail-oriented with invoices, work orders, and dashboards.
• Physical: ability to sit long hours and occasional onsite reviews.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary remote operator handling high-volume gate and intercom calls.
• Remotely resolve gated equipment holds, card reader glitches, and barriers.
• Act as frontline ambassador and handle driver inquiries via phone, email, and mail.
• Collaborate with Property Management teams for account validation and issue resolution.
• Monitor hardware (PARCS, LPR, mobile payments) and dispatch maintenance work orders.
• Provide occasional onsite support for Raleigh properties during events or rollouts.
• Prepare revenue reporting for market teams and leadership.
• Guide monthly parkers through online accounts and billing updates.
